Local Impact

The Centers for Working Families (CWF) are managed locally by the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) in strategic partnership with the Central Indiana Community Foundation. The centers have already seen results among the 3,120 families served since 2011. Participants who used more than one service were two to three times more successful in achieving financial goals than participants who used only one.

The “bundling” of multiple services helps participants achieve major economic goals including increased income, increased net worth, and increase credit scores. These outcomes indicate a family’s potential in saving and investing for their future.

Over the last two years, CWF has helped low-income families increase their earnings and save and invest their money to reach financial stability and climb the economic ladder.
